Rodrigo Garcia Umali

Rodrigo Garcia Umali, 68 of Belleville, entered into eternal rest on November 30th at Clara Maass Medical Center. Born in Candelaria, Quezon, Philippines, he lived in Belleville. He was a Barangay Councilor of Pahinga I. For this, he was well known to everyone as "Konsehal". He enjoyed singing and playing "Tongits" & "Poker". He is the cherished husband of Severa Calderero Umali, loving father of; Marianne Umali, Maureen U. Santos (Allan), Marilyn Umali-Dizon (Louie) & Rodrigo Umali, Jr., beloved brother of; Felicita Malabanan, Melchora Porto, Marina Umali, Carmen U. Labay, Josefina U. Versola, & Celia U. Monticer. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to Jedidiah, Hans Gabriel, Sam Phoenix, Yuan James Santos, Sebastian & Selah Andrea Dizon. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Friday, December 9th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, Zuasola-Grillo Filipino Funeral Service, 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
