Renato Peco Alvaran

Renato Peco Alvaran, 83, of Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ.
Born in Mandaluyong City, Rizal, Philippines, Renato dedicated his life to his family, faith, and profession. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the University of the East and worked in Saudi Arabia before immigrating to the United States in 1984. Upon settling in the U.S., he dedicated 17 years of service to the Federation Employment and Guidance Services. He spent the past 41 years as a proud resident of the U.S., and he built a life rooted in service and devotion.
Renato was an active member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Jersey City, New Jersey. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Zenaida Reyes Alvaran; his children, Laurence & Ruby Alvaran and Gerald & Linda Alvaran; and his cherished grandchildren, Ashley Grace, Caleb Laurence, Isabel, Leonardo, and Luna.
He was lovingly welcomed into eternal life by his dear son, Nap, and his beloved siblings, Aquilino Pena, Catalino Pena Sr., Angelina Vasquez, and Concepcion Raymundo, who surely embraced him with the everlasting joy of Heaven and the peace of coming home at last.
Renato will be remembered for his quiet strength, warm heart, and unwavering love for his family and faith. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Zuasola Funeral Homes, 101 Union Ave. Belleville, NJ 07109.
