Belleville, New Jersey
It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we celebrate the life of Ramon Perez Mena of Belleville, New Jersey, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and a friend to many, who left us on July 31, 2026. Born in the Dominican Republic on December 28, 1955, Ramon was a man of the countryside and the open road. He was a lover of the land, a cowboy at heart, and a storyteller who left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Ramon lived his life with a spirit of adventure and a deep appreciation for nature. He found his joy behind the wheel of a truck or his car, exploring the world around him with each new mile. His love for the countryside was reflected in his passion for farming, as he cherished growing vegetables and other crops. "I love the green of nature," he would often say, a testament to his simple yet profound connection with the land. An animal lover, he treasured the companionship of dogs, admired the majesty of horses, and always felt most at home in the country's sights and sounds.
His infectious laughter and engaging stories filled every room with joy. His wisdom, compassion, and generosity touched countless lives, making him a beacon of light and strength in the community.
He was far more than a provider—he was the heart and soul of his family. He worked tirelessly, making countless sacrifices to ensure his loved ones were cared for and never went without. He was the captain of the ship, the steady hand that kept his family together through every storm. His strength, guidance, and unconditional love gave them a foundation to lean on, and his unwavering devotion will forever be the legacy he leaves behind.
Ramon is survived by his wife, Blasina A. Perez, his children Glenny C. Perez, Linda C. Perez, and Ramon D. Perez, and his grandchildren Reinny, Ruy, Genesys, Junior, Medow, and Gabriel. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tulio Perez Cuevas and Norma Mena. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, of exploration and appreciation for the simple beauty of life. May his journey continue on endless roads, beneath wide country skies, surrounded by the green landscapes he loved so dearly.
We invite all who knew and loved Ramon to share their memories and photos on his memorial page, celebrating the life of a man whose heart belonged to the open road, the countryside, and the people he treasured. Your stories will help keep his spirit alive, reminding us all of the value of laughter, the joy of exploration, and the beauty of life's simple pleasures.
Cremation will be held privately.
