Prudencia Mariano Macadangdang

Prudencia Mariano Macadangdang, formerly of Hillside, NJ passed away peacefully on the early morning of October 11, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 22, 1936 in Sto. Thomas, San Nicolas, Pangasinan to the late Nicolas Mariano and Cesaria Rodrigo.
Prudencia, also known as Lola Pruding, Manang, and Mrs. Mac graduated from the University of the East in 1957 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine. She practiced dentistry for fifteen years in Roxas, Isabela before immigrating to the United States in 1972. Later on, she received her certification in Respiratory Therapy where she worked at Elizabeth General Hospital in Elizabeth, NJ for almost 30 years before retiring.
She was the beloved wife of the late Patrocinio Macadangdang. Predeceased by her siblings Pelagio Mariano, Juan Mariano, Crestita Realigue, and Paulo Mariano. Those left to cherish her memory is her beloved daughter Marosa Geroso, son-in-law, Lorenzo Loel Geroso; grandchildren, Lorenzo "LL" Geroso, Noelle Geroso; sister, Procesa Mariano Hermano;sister-in-law, Eustaquia Mariano; balae, Elisa Geroso; multiple nieces and nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Prudencia was well loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her unwavering love, selflessness, dynamic personality, and dedication to her family and friends will not be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Union Funeral Home - Lytwyn and Grillo at 1600 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, NJ 07083 on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
All are invited to meet at the funeral home at 8:00 AM for Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 17, 2024, 10:00 AM at Christ the King Church, 411 Rutgers Ave., Hillside. NJ 07205. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1137 N Broad St., Hillside, NJ at 11:45 AM.
