Procesa Canilao Tejada

Procesa Canilao Tejada, 93, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025 at Raritan Bay Medical Center.
She was born on December 7, 1931 in Malabon, Philippines, to her loving parents, Bernabe Canilao and Gregoria Sioson.
Procesa was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched all who knew her. She is survived by her children Cristina Delos Santos, Maria Luisa Tejada, and Carlos Tejada and his wife Rizalie Tejada. She is also preceded in death by her husband Asterio Tejada and beloved son Victor Tejada.
She leaves behind a large and cherished family of grandchildren: Jesse and Rea, Jan and Mariss, Jo-Ann and Richard, Reddwin and April, Christian, Charlon and Hazel, and Caryl. Procesa was also a proud great-grandmother to Jaren, Raegen, Brennan, Maddy, Kenzie, Macie, Chraelzon, Chzarleon, Chlaezron, Zoe, Amber and all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 4:00 PM.
Procesa will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the deep love she shared with her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
