Marina Manansala Mendoza, a dedicated and vibrant spirit, departed this life on September 8, 2026, at the age of 89. Marina, a long-time resident of West Orange, New Jersey, was known for her unwavering faith and commitment to her beloved church, Iglesia Ni Cristo, (Church of Christ), locale of Nutley. She was a beacon of light, always present at every church activity and ready to lend a helping hand. Her devotion to her faith was inspiring, and her presence in church community will be deeply missed.
Marina found great joy in listening to drama stories, an activity that brought immense pleasure which transported her to different parts of the world. Her love for commemorating her younger days was infectious, often captivating the attention of her family and friends. She was an active parishioner, a dedicated mother, and a loving grandmother. She was a woman of strength, resilience, and love, who lived her life in service to her faith and family.
Marina is survived by her children Pete and wife Josie, Maria Scott, Zenaida and Paulyne. She was an adoring grandmother to Ezzy and wife Nikki, Ebby & Eunice and to her great grandchildren Jason, Paul, Maya Travers and Noah Breedlove. The family will remember her as pillar of strength, a beacon of faith, and a source of endless love. Her loss leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will forever remain alive in the hearts of her loved ones.
