Loreta Sestoso Dabajo Obituary (1934

Loreta Sestoso Dabajo, age 91, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026. She was born on October 7, 1934, in Boljoon, Cebu, Philippines, to the late Publio Sestoso and Maria Mosqueda. Loreta was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio Dabajo Sr. She is survived by her loving children: Chona Dabajo; Chito Dabajo and his wife Karen; Maria "Chuchi" Demaurez and her husband Kevin; Christopher Dabajo and his wife Armila; Christine Rabac; Junjun Dabajo and his wife Gina; and Lulu Dabajo. She was a cherished sister to Prising Romero and a proud grandmother to Jojo Dabajo, Kim Johnson, Nicole Johnson, Janjan Rabac, Crystal Rabac, Donna Pasana, Nicole Dabajo, James Dabajo, Joshua Dabajo, Jayden Dabajo, Hans Dabajo, Xian Dabajo and a loving great-grandmother to Gio. Loreta worked as a housekeeper at Mountainside Hospital for 12 years before retiring. She was a faithful Roman Catholic and a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Belleville, New Jersey. Her life was marked by hard work, humility, deep faith, and unconditional love for her family. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17, 2026, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Nutley. Cremation is private.
