Julius Labanich

Julius Labanich, 60, of Belleville, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on September 9, 2025. Born on August 28, 1965, in Newark, he was the son of the late Margaret and Julius Labanich. He is survived by his siblings Antoinette & William Labanich, niece Alecia Phillips & nephew Anthony Phillips.
Jay will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the simple joys he embraced in life. He had a deep love for food and cooking, always finding comfort in sharing meals and flavors. Music was a constant companion, bringing him peace and joy, while his appreciation for nature reflected his thoughtful and reflective spirit.
His life was not defined by possessions or titles, but by kindness, loyalty, and compassion. His humor, humility, and warmth touched all who knew him, leaving lasting memories that will continue to inspire.
Cremation will be held privately.
