With deep sorrow and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Dhelma Bucol Lopez, 74, on November 29, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital, Oyster Bay Town, New York.
Born on October 7, 1951, in Baliangao, Misamis Occidental, Philippines, Dhelma lived a life marked by strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.
Dhelma was a proud Filipino and a devoted Born Again Christian. She built a meaningful life both in the Philippines and in the United States. Also an active member of CDO Mis-Or Association of New York, Inc. She was not only a dedicated part of the organization but also a cherished friend whose warmth, kindness and generosity touch many lives.
She worked full-time as a Home Health Aide. Through her gentle hands and caring heart, she served others with dignity, patience, and kindness. Her dedication to her work reflected the nurturing spirit she carried throughout her life.
Dhelma was the cherished daughter of Genovevo Bucol and Felomina Abalos, and a loving mother to her son, Dwight Karel A. Lee, whom she adored deeply. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love into every moment she shared with them. Her warmth, resilience, and quiet strength were felt by everyone blessed to know her.
She is remembered with love by her many family members and friends whose lives she touched with her generosity, laughter, and faith-filled spirit.
Though her passing leaves a space that can never be filled, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who love her. Her legacy of kindness, service, and love will continue to shine through the lives she influenced.
