Benjar Favila Mendoza Obituary (1951

Benjar Favila Mendoza passed away on January 13, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital Northeast New Jersey Inc. in Rochelle Park, he was 73 years old. A resident of Belleville, New Jersey, he was born in Urbiztondo, Pangasinan, Philippines on January 12, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilfredo Mendoza and Milagros Favila, and brother Ferdinand. Benjar left to cherish his memory is his wife, Alicia Asejo; children Ray Allan and his wife Lizbeth, Christopher and his wife Chiqui, Michael, Vincent and Anne Benice, and grandchildren Rain, Matthew and Mason. He is also survived by his siblings Manny, Cesar, Napy, Virgilio and Arlene, countless cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues. He worked as a retail associate at Marshalls for several years before retiring. Benjar always went above and beyond in every aspect of his life. Although his passing leaves a profound void, his presence and wonderful legacy will be remembered for all eternity. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral viewing on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Zuasola Funeral Homes of New Jersey, LLC - 44 Bay Ave., Bloomfield, NJ 07003. (Additional parking along Broughton Avenue). Cremation will take place at Rosedale Cemetery and Crematory in Montclair, NJ privately.
