Augustina Owusu at the age of 60, departed this life peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in Irvington, New Jersey.
Augustina was born on August 21, 1965, in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana. She is the beloved daughter of Owusu Banahene of Kumasi, Ghana and Rose Amoah of Mim, Ghana.
Augustina built a meaningful life centered on faith, family, and service.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Samuel Oteng-Mensah, with whom she shared a devoted and loving union. Together, they raised a beautiful family and instilled in their children the values of faith, hard work, and love.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Samuel Oteng-Mensah, and her children, Leena Adubofour, Felix Oteng Mensah, Raymond Oteng Mensah, Percy Oteng Mensah, and Marceline Oteng Mensah. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Felicia Anokye, Jerry Agyemang, and Osei Bonsu, along with her other relatives, and friends.
A caring and dedicated woman, Augustina worked as a home care aide with Community Home Care, where she served her clients with compassion and kindness. She built a legacy of resilience, service, and strength that will continue to inspire generations.
Augustina was a faithful Christian and a devoted member of the Christ Apostolic Church, where she worshipped wholeheartedly. Her unwavering faith in God was evident in her life and in the way she touched the lives of everyone around her.
Augustina's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family, who knew her as a loving wife, caring mother, and strong woman of faith.
Though she has departed from this earthly life, her light continues to shine in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be at Zuasola Funeral Homes, 101 Union Ave. Belleville, NJ 07109 on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. Prayer Service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Interment will take place at Hollywood Cemetery - Union, New Jersey 07083 on Friday, October 3, 2025 12:30 P.M.
