Angel Dulay Torio

Angel D. Torio of Suffolk County, New York, passed away on July 8, 2022 at Huntington Hospital, New York. He was born on the 31st of May, 1937 in Binmaley, Pangasinan, Philippines. He was the son of the late Vicente Torio and Gertrudes Dulay.

Angel is survived by his six children and their spouses, Angie Nieva Agpalza (Angie) married to Mario, Vic Adrian Torio (Vic) married to Brenda, Evangeline Trinidad (Bambie) married to Nelson, Angel Richard Torio (Richie) married to Anna, Angel Denton Torio (Dondon) married to Karen and Ma. Christina Torio (Chichi). Grandchildrens are Mica, Miggy, Maui, Maxine, Yanni, Brian, Patrix, Kay and Emma.

He married the late Nieva P. Gonzalo on the 14th of June 1964 at Binmaley Catholic Church in Pangasinan, Philippines. He served in the Vietnam War as a War surgeon and has spent most of his life since then in New York.

Angel is known as Gil by his relatives and he is called Daddy by his children. His love for the garden and reading books was exceptional. He will surely be missed by his family, loving relatives, his best mate Patrick, who was like a brother and all his wonderful friends.

Cremation will be held privately. A memorial service will be held at a later date due to his children being far apart and in different continents.
